Hello, dreamers. After a brief break for the holiday weekend, a new week begins.

It’s been a wild ride. Obviously the past few weeks have been consumed with the lead up to, and subsequent launch of, Wide Horizon. But there’s much more yet to come. The launch of my debut novel was just the beginning, and I’m excited to share what’s next. So here we go:

Coming Soon: Monthly Newsletter

At long last, next month will see the inception of my monthly newsletter. Starting May 2, subscribers will receive a monthly newsletter, providing sneak peeks at what I’m working on, exclusive content, giveaways, and unprecedented access to me and my work. The newsletter will include more in-depth versions of my weekly posts, as well as additional fiction and nonfiction pieces. What’s more, the first twenty subscribers will receive a free copy of my short fiction collection, Unrealized Realities, just for subscribing.

Subscription will begin next Monday, with the first issue of the newsletter coming one week later. Don’t miss your chance to dream with me as I continue my journey.

Querying for Pioneers

With Wide Horizon in the books, so to speak, I now turn my attention fully to my most pressing work: querying for publication of Pioneers. Thus, this week my work will consist primarily of final edits, followed by revising my query letter and writing my synopses. Once that’s done, querying will begin. As promised, this week I’ll be renewing my #WIPWednesday posts, starting with a brief introduction to Pioneers, and the universe I’ve built around it. A more in-depth overview of the project will be included in my inaugural monthly newsletter on May 2.

Once I’ve begun querying Pioneers, I will also be resuming work on the next novels in the series. More on that in the coming #WIPWednesday post.

New Content

While my planned new content for the site was pushed back last week (due to the book release), this week it’s finally coming. In the coming days, look for a new flash fiction piece, as well as a new piece about using fusion energy in science fiction.
