Hello, dreamers. It was another busy week, both here on the site and in my writing endeavors. I finished significant modifications (and expansion) on Endurance, began preparations for a new section to the site, and wrote my monthly posts for April. For anyone who didn’t get the chance to read this week, here’s what you may have missed on Writing Tomorrow:
This week, I talked about my preparations for querying for Pioneers, ongoing work on Endurance, and an upcoming feature in May here on Writing Tomorrow.
I posted another sneak peek at my space opera Wide Horizon, available now on Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, Google Books, and Rakuten Kobo.
I talked a bit about expanding Endurance, my upcoming novella and book one of the Turn of the Century series. In particular, I talked about how the emergence of a new character completely changed the tone of the story.
In this month’s “Science in Fiction, I talked about travel times in science fiction, and how modern science can help sci-fi writers deal with the “Grandfather Problem”.
“Friday Flash Fiction: Eternity in an Instant“
This week’s flash fiction piece followed an astronaut being sucked into a black hole, what he sees during his experience, and how he’ll never be able to share it with anyone.
Keep an eye out for tomorrow’s “Self-Pub Sunday”, where I’ll be revealing the cover for my next novella! Until then, dare to dream. – MK
